The premise of 50 Things is to provide free access to life-changing, fun, low-or no cost experiences for families. The outcome of which would help develop young children's skills and confidence, so that they enter primary school much better equipped for learning.

Westminster C of E Primary Academy in West Yorkshire took part in the FrogPlay World Championships for the first time in March this year when two of their pupils emerged 1st and 2nd place against 1 million competitors worldwide.

Edtech, short for education technology, is a term that has been used in schools and on the education scene for a number of years. Schools are using edtech to find solutions to everything from easing administrative tasks (timetabling, scheduling, class management) and streamlining the home learning process (with online homework management software) to revolutionising how children engage with home learning by using gamification as a reward for completing tasks
Are schools developing the right skills for children's futures?

A World Economic Forum report recently estimated that 65% of children starting primary school today will be doing jobs that don’t yet exist. This is a surprising revelation and prompts the question – how will schools prepare students for the future workplace? If we can’t know exactly what the jobs will be or the skills required to do them, how can schools prepare children and open their eyes to future opportunities?
How is gamification benefiting education?

The gamification of learning is an approach used to engage students through the use of video game and game elements in educational environments, such as the class room, but has now been extended to home learning through homework management software that uses gameplay.
