Frog opens annual conference to non-frog schools

The Frog annual conference has become a regular feature in the academic calendar for many Frog schools. This year the invitation is extended to non-Frog schools, giving free access to a range of speakers led by Ofsted's National Director, Education, Sean Harford.

The event agenda for Thursday 27 June aligns with the Ofsted Inspection Framework changes coming into effect in September 2019. With a focus on curriculum and move away from levels-type data, schools are looking at a changing landscape for which they need to be prepared.

Complementary to the Ofsted keynote, the speaker line-up is designed not only to impart information but also provide practical advice and guidance so schools feel better equipped to take on the necessary changes.

School guest speakers are always a feature of the Frog Conference and this year is no exception with three different schools sharing their experiences. In the afternoon, workshop sessions provide the opportunity for attendees to interact with peers and ask questions.

The Frog Academy launched in 2018 after the concept was tested with last year's conference audience. The model works by taking ideas and inspiration from schools and - where viable - converting them into real, practical solutions using our powerful learning platform and sharing them with all FrogLearn schools for free. Its evolution will be shared at the conference, including highlights of the new solutions that are already saving schools time and money.
