Jemond Park’s teachers saved over 2000 hours marking!

Happy new year and welcome back. Jesmond Park Academy truly have started as they mean to go on!

The school currently has a focus on homework and identifying gaps in the students’ knowledge. Since the start of the academic year in September, pupils and staff have already logged over 4800 hours in FrogPlay – our self-marking quiz and question bank system – which has saved the staff more than 2000 hours in marking time.

Jesmond Park Academy is a large mixed secondary school in Newcastle. They became part of the Gosforth Academy Group in 2019.

We spoke to Richard Faraday at the school who told us “FrogPlay makes it so much easier to set quizzes. Teachers can just grab a quiz and set it for homework. But then we get to see exactly what the students do, and do not understand from the marking matrix reports”.

If you didn’t already know, FrogPlay is an additional resource available as part of the collection of Frog products or as a standalone element for primary and secondary schools. There are over 250,000 curriculum linked questions along with 1.7 million questions shared by teachers in the community.

If you'd like to know more about FrogPlay or quizzes in Frog, then just get in touch with us for a chat.
