What’s New in Frog: The Hopper Release

Enhancing Communication
Across Your Platform

You may remember that last year we shared news about the upcoming release for your Frog platform, with features like Edit Resources on Assignments, the ability to Share Sites and Resources with parents for greater ease, and the introduction of FrogPlay Live. We know it’s been a while since then, but that extra time has allowed us to pack even more into the next update.

We’re excited to introduce this latest release, Hopper, named after computing pioneer, Grace Hopper, a trailblazer in tech and communication.

The Hopper release includes a brand-new, rebuilt from the ground up, MyFrog App, giving students, parents and teachers even more flexibility and access on the go.

Communication Tools

In addition, we’re also launching two new communication tools designed to enhance school engagement: Announcements and Chat. These updates are all about making your platform more powerful, and connecting with the right groups is now easier than ever.

Announcements is an upgraded version of the existing Messages application in Frog. Now with enhanced file sharing, the ability to add it to a site or dashboard, read and archive tracking, and the long awaited two-way communication option when needed.

The newly enhanced Chat feature offers an interactive way for staff, students, and parents to communicate. With functionality similar to Announcements, Chat enables quick discussions and private conversations, all accessible via the Quick Launch feature within the Messages application.

Watch this space… We’ll be sharing the release date for these brilliant new features shortly!
