Each year a new version of the Ofsted statutory information gets published. Are you aware of the latest requirements that were added in November 2016? You can see the requirements by visiting the Department for Education website.
Does your website include all the required information on...
School contact details?
Exam and assessment results?
Values and ethos?
School complaints procedure?
Year 7 literacy and numeracy catch-up premium?
PE and sport premium for primary schools?
Special educational needs (SEN) and disability information?
Governors’ information and duties?
Charging and remissions policies?
Requests for paper copies?
Getting the required information can be challenging as it needs to be collated along with all your other day-to-day tasks. You would like to think though that getting it on to your public website should be pretty easy!
A Content Management System (CMS) allows schools to manage and administrate the content that is on their website. Unfortunately, some schools do not have a CMS and may in fact rely on a third party to make changes – involving extra time and costs! Other schools may have a CMS, but it is that difficult to use that it creates an extra pressure on top of collating the information.
Does your website allow you to update content quickly and easily?
Did you know that Frog can provide you a website that has a CMS to allow you to take control? In fact, we have two website options to ensure that you have the right website solution for your needs.
We have website functionality built into our FrogLearn software, so if you are an existing customer you already have the option in place. Additionally, we have our Pro website software that could provide you with a world-class system for creating your school website - it's that good we use it for our website too!
