Frog Education is delighted to have achieved finalist status in the ‘Collaboration with a School’ category at this years' Bett awards. An achievement shared with the team at Finham Park Multi-Academy Trust that celebrates a great working partnership.
Gareth Davies, Managing Director at Frog Education, explains: “Schools are experiencing real challenges, so much so that Frog has re-engineered its whole business model. We no longer think of ourselves as providing technology to schools but partnering with them to develop solutions to their problems. In addition to this co-construction of solutions, we then also provide them free of charge to the whole Frog community of schools. This is saving schools tens of thousands of pounds each year, while ticking off one challenge after another.” Gareth continues, “we may not have won the award this time but we are fundamentally proud to be working with schools and MATs in this way. It’s what is needed now."
Frog has enabled Finham Park Multi-Academy Trust to develop an umbrella brand identity for the trust, without watering down the individuality of schools. Bernadette Pettman, School Improvement Leader commented: “We use Frog to disseminate information to ensure staff receive the same information at the same time, improving engagement, standards and consistency. We can brand this at trust level, which promotes the benefits of working collectively. This has already had an impact on governance, visibility and breaking down geographical barriers. Teachers have access to all the latest information and resources in one place. This approach has helped the schools become engaged and excited about what we were trying to achieve, and their feedback has hugely enriched our discussions with Frog”. Bernadette worked in partnership with Frog to bring these requirements to life which included the release of a customisable Appraisal and CPD system.
Bernadette concludes “the best part of working with Frog is the enthusiasm to develop together. They’ve helped us to think about things differently. It’s a two-way dialogue, the heart of which has been the creation of a system that’s much easier and efficient for all our colleagues. We’ve had a common aim to make a difference.”
Frog Education will continue to bring schools and MATs together to share ideas and co-create real practical solutions that will have a positive impact on reducing costs and saving teacher time.
